# Introduction

NewBitcoin (NEWBTC) is a next-generation cryptocurrency designed as a clone of Bitcoin, with full compatibility on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-supported network. The primary goal of NewBitcoin is to provide an opportunity for those who missed investing in Bitcoin during its early stages. With a decentralized and community-driven approach, NewBitcoin ensures fair distribution, mining incentives, staking rewards, and future listings on major centralized exchanges (CEXs).
